Automatic Deburring of Rocker Shafts:

Machined components catch thick burrs at edges, drill holes, tapped holes, during manufacturing and are required to be deburred before supply / fitment. Kushal Shot Blasting Equipments has developed a complete automatic logistic machine for deburring of automobile rocker shaft. The shaft is placed on the blasting station and carried into the blast cabinet by turntable indexing. The deburring operation is performed and the clean component is moved out of the cabinet, completely ready for fitment.

The total operation is automated and PLC controlled for high production output and consistency in quality of finish. Position Sensors are fitted at precise locations to sense job loading, blast gun movement, and turntable indexing. Safety Photo Sensors are provided so that turntable does not index if operator's hands are engaged in loading/unloading components. Door safety switches are provided to stop blasting operation if doors are open. The blasting parameters and operations are controlled through a sophisticated control panel. The blast cycle time is timer controlled to ensure uniform results and consistency. Blasted Media is automatically reclaimed and recycled while dust and debris are collected in dust collector. The air emission to atmosphere is clean and environment friendly.
Satellite Indexing Machine for Blast Cleaning of Small Components:

The small size components having critical profile are mounted on a satellite indexing turntable that takes the component up to the blasting station inside the blast cabinet. The component is rotated on its axis by satellite rotation. The blast guns are reciprocated to desired length to cover the total area requiring blast cleaning. The blast nozzles movement is synchronised to clean the required profile within seconds. The turntable gets index at preset time set by timer. The blasted components get air washed before exit out of the cabinet.

Descaling of Rods and Pipe Sections:

The external surface of Pipes / Rods are required to be blast cleaned to remove oxidation and scaling. The machine is engineered for inline cleaning of external surface of metallic pipes and rods to reputed customers. The machine is simple to operate with minimum maintenance and operator has to simply load and unload the rods/pipes on rotating rollers.

The pipes / rods are placed on motorized roller arrangement, which moves the rods / pipes forward as well as rotates inside the blast chamber. The rods / pipes are exposed to the abrasive blast stream through the twin blat nozzle assembly for blast cleaning. The dust created during blasting is separated & collected in fabric bag dust collector and clean air is discharged to atmosphere keeping the environment clean and eco-friendly.
Roll Etching Machine for Steel Industries:

Metal surface needs close range of surface roughness based on its specific application. Desired surface roughness on metal sheet is generated by passing the sheet through pressing rollers. These rollers have controlled range of surface roughness. Rollers transmit part of its roughness to sheet being rolled depending on roller pressure. Thus rollers need to maintain its surface roughness in close range. During rolling operation, rollers surface get smooth and rollers are again etched to get back the desired surface roughness. The roll-etching, i.e. creating the surface roughness on rollers, is accomplished by abrasive grit blasting process as well known method.
