Abrasive Blasting Cabinet facilitates blast-cleaning operation in a confined blast chamber. An Abrasive-Liquid slurry is sprayed through the blast gun. The process is called wet blasting, liquid honing. Abrasive slurry is bombarded out of blast gun with the help of compressed air and strikes the work surface placed inside the cabinet. The slurry is recovered and re-cycled and the mist generated is separated out of the system. There is no risk of flying abrasives and dust as in dry blasting process. Air exhausted to the atmosphere is clean & pollution free.
Wet Blasting Cabinets 'Model K-W'
Wet Blasting Cabinets Model K-W Works on wet slurry induction principle of abrasive blasting. The equipment uses fine to superfine abrasive mixed with water as slurry base. It is used to remove very thin deposits, scales, fine burrs from multi-tooth cutting tools, for super-finishing of machined surface without damage to sharp edges and tolerances, and for providing matt finish.
Cabinet inside body is zinc metallised to prevent it from corrosion. The blasted slurry is made to fall in cabinet hopper from where it is recycled again to blast nozzle. A mist collector carries wet mist and fog created inside cabinet for clear visibility during operation. Exhaust air to atmosphere is clean and pollution free. The abrasives used are fine to very fine grade size recommended to best suit the application.
The equipment is designing to most convenient operating position with ergonomic armholes for free maneuver of the job / blast gun. Sealed enclosure ensures that slurry and mist does not escape outside while performing blasting operation. Replaceable vision glass protect against abrasive action. Equipped with air regulator, pressure gauge and On-OFF controls for mist collector & illumination.
The equipment is manufactured in three standard sizes to suit component size while cabinet of a bigger size or with advanced features and automation is custom designed to suit individual customer requirements.

Tumble Basket: Tumble Basket is mounted on side door to suit cabinet size. Basket is easily removable when not needed. Blast period is controlled by a timer. It is suitable for automatic batch blasting of smaller parts such as balls, rings, screws, nuts, tools etc.
