Operator's Safety Wear:

Occupational Safety in hostile process environments particularly abrasive / shot blasting is of paramount importance. Concern of comfort and safety of operator is as vital as process output. Productivity of operation is basically dependent on motivated work force and adequate work place environment.

In Abrasive Blasting whether open Blasting on in side the blast room generates a lot of dust mainly due to breakage of abrasive and removal of corrosive layer from the job resulting whole work area a zone of full of dust and flying abrasive. Thus, work environment and operator must be safe guarded against inhalation of dust, arrangement of clean air for breathing and protection against heating of flying abrasive.

Operator is recommended to wear following set of safety wears that are supplied (as optional) with “KSBE-PORT.â€Â�

Air Fed Abrasive Blaster Helmet Model ‘KSBE-H1’: Abrasive Blaster Helmet is multi featured, with FRP Hood – lightweight and high strength material for long life. Helmet outer is covered with abrasive resistant rubber to reduce impact of flying abrasive. Inside Cap is easily replaceable and washable. Abrasion resistant outer cover provides operators safety up to the waist height. Bigger vision window with double lens with replacement facility for outer lens. Adjustable headband ensures perfect holding and comfort.

Pneumatic Hose for Helmet: PVC pneumatic hose of suitable length is supplied to connect breathing air outlet from machine fitting upto the helmet inlet.

Air Breather: Compressed air supplied to helmet is passed through an Air Breather assembly. It eliminates oil and moisture and ensures clean air supply for breathing.

Helmet Air Conditioner:  Helmet Air Conditioner (HAC) cools the breathing air. The operator can work for more duration in a comfort work environment thus adding productivity. An air control valve is provided to regulate airflow and temperature.

Operator’s Suit: It protect operator body from flying and re-bounding abrasives.

Rubber Hand Gloves: Safeguards operator’s hands and facilitate working with ease.

Gum Boots: Safety foot wares are recommended to prevent against slippery flooring.
